Just before turning 18-years-old she shot her first campaign - with Diesel, no less, in New York. She's about to have her first exhibition in Manhattan, and release a book. She's been a photographer since age 13. Signed to an agent at 16. She's won two Australian photography awards. She grew up partly on a houseboat and partly in Townsville, Queensland. She is Nirrimi.

Which five words best describe you? Mango trees, gypsies, tenderness, madness, water.
How did you get your career start and what path have you taken since?
My career started gradually; I began shooting at age 13 and things just began to happen around me. Often it doesn't sink in. Whether I'm shooting an international fashion campaign or my sister in the backyard, it is all just shooting, it's all I know.
What’s the best lesson you’ve learnt along the way?
Trust yourself above anyone else. especially with art, it's so easy to let someone else take over when you feel the pressure, but it has to come from your own heart to be real. It will always be hard.
What’s been your best decision? Leaving high school; it was a weight on my shoulders that began to crush the life and passion out of me. Who inspires you? Youth around me that are filled with so much passion and obsession they have nothing else. It makes me want to dedicate my life more fully to my own obsessions. I am friends with the inspirers of the future.
What are you passionate about? Pictures and words and love.
Which person, living or dead, would you most like to meet? My children, which are neither yet, but will one day be very alive. What dream do you still want to fulfil? To live on a houseboat and to make beautiful films.
What are you reading? Someone's diary I shouldn't.
