artist robert ryan

I'm kicking myself that I didn't do a post on Robert Ryan on Friday as I planned because now I've just gone back to review the Arthouse Gallery invitation I realise the exhibition finished this weekend. Oh well, it doesn't mean we can't enjoy his work. It's quite primitive but also reminds me of the works of Picasso and Matisse. No doubt because they were influenced by African art at various stages in their careers.
