This set of 3 large cahier cardboard covered Moleskine journals, are perfect for designers, engineers, architects and thinkers. Each journal has ruled pages, ideal for note-taking, diagramming and sketching.
The French term 'cahier' roughly translates to mean 'an exercise book or notebook'. The journals feature 80 pages, 16 of which are perforated so they can be easily teared out when needed. They each have an expandable inner pocket to keep other notes safe and organised.
History of Moleskine:
The Moleskine brand identifies a number of objects that compliment the creativity and imagination of our world however it all began with a humble notebook.This notebook was originally produced by a small French bookbinder for over a century and was used by great artists and thinkers including Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemmingway and Bruce Chatwin. It was Chatwin who dubbed it 'moleskine'. In the mid-1980s, the French family-owned bookbinder was closed and the notebooks became very rare. Years later, in 1997, a small Milanese publisher began production of the 'moleskine' notebook as we know it today.
