A papier-mâché plate designed by Belgian interior designer Marie Michielssen. Inspired by the re-use of materials, in this instance, recycled paper, Michielssen playfully explores form and volume to create this beautiful one-of-kind object. The papier-mâché material creates a raw, organic surface and because each piece has been created by hand, no two are the same.
Use it as a striking centrepiece for your table or a sculptural object on your sideboard.
Please note that as each piece is handmade there may be slight changes in colour and size, and any subtle imperfections only add to the uniqueness and character of the plate.
