Object 5 of our Raku Collection - Raku Small Vase. A beautiful hand-built small vase handcrafted with care. A stand-out of our latest collection, that uses the Obavra firing technqiue. Obavra is credited with having properties which help preserve food from insects and to keep food warmer and also cooler for longer. Sometimes, if you are very lucky, the flour burns into the pot during the process and creates the elusive "obvara “eyes” which are said to have mystical properties.
Due to the handmade nature of this ceramic vase and its unique firing process, there may variations in colour, tone and cracks which we believe contributes to its rich story & rustic beauty.
